We collect account and contact details, profile and verification information, task and service details, messages, reviews, support communications, approximate or submitted location, device and usage data, and transaction records. Stripe collects and processes payment, identity and bank details under its own privacy terms; Urban Help Hub does not store complete payment-card or bank-account numbers.

We use information to provide accounts and marketplace matching, process payments and payouts, verify users, prevent fraud, communicate about tasks, provide support, enforce policies, improve the platform and comply with law.

We share necessary information between Customers and Helpers to arrange and perform tasks. We may share information with Stripe, hosting, analytics, communications and verification providers; professional advisers; law enforcement where legally required; and a successor in a business transaction. We do not sell personal information.

We handle personal information with consent, to perform our agreements, for reasonable business purposes and where required or permitted by Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and other applicable laws.

We retain information only as long as reasonably required for the purposes described, legal obligations, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to or correction of personal information and may withdraw consent where legally permitted. You may also request account closure, subject to necessary retention. Contact us using the details below. We may verify your identity before responding.

We may use essential storage, cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security and performance. Service providers may process information outside Alberta or Canada, where it may be subject to local law.

UrbanHelpHub is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children.
